Who we are

VAI Soft Lab is Vahid Alamipour, a sole trader in Sydney, Australia (trading as VAI Soft Lab, ABN 53 361 734 507). We build software for businesses. For any privacy question, email hello@vaisoftlab.com.

Visiting this website

This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics. Fonts, pictures and the video come from this website only. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles basic technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site, and may keep short technical logs.

The contact form

When you use the form, we get your name, your email address and your message. The form service Web3Forms sends it to our inbox as an email. We use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, for that work. We keep it while we need it for that, and we delete it when you ask.

Business emails we send

We sometimes email a business about its software, at a work address that the business published on its own website. We never buy lists and never use tools that collect addresses from the internet.

• What we keep: name, role, company, work email, the page where we found the address, the date, what we sent, and any reply.
• Why: we offer software services to businesses. We email one published work address, about the person's job, at most twice, and each email lets you say no in one step. This is our legitimate interest (a real business reason, used fairly).
• How long: if you never reply, we delete your details 12 months after our last email. We keep a short record of where we found the address and what we sent for 3 years, to show we followed the email laws.
• Stop emails: reply "no thanks" or email us. We stop the same day. We keep your email address on a do-not-contact list only, so we never email you again.

Who else handles the data

We do not sell or share your data for marketing. We use a few services to run the business: Cloudflare (website and email forwarding), Google Gmail (our inbox) and Web3Forms (the contact form). They may store data outside your country, for example in the USA.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to our emails at any time. Email hello@vaisoftlab.com. We answer within one month, usually much sooner.

You can also complain to a data protection regulator: in Australia the OAIC, in the UK the ICO, and in the EU the data protection authority of your country.
