Overflow engineering for agencies: one senior engineer, with an AI agent team, under your brand.

Who it is for

Design, marketing, product and no-code agencies, and software shops, that sometimes need more senior engineering than they have in-house. Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.

What you get

• A lead-level engineer (16+ years, from developer to CTO) who delivers like a small team. My own AI agent team does the heavy work, and I review every line.
• Web, mobile and AI: React, React Native, Next.js, Node, TypeScript, and AI agents inside a product (Claude, agent systems, MCP). Any technology your client already uses.
• Under your brand, or next to your team. Your client sees your name. I sign your NDA.
• Code your own team can read and extend. Tests and documentation come with it.
• Remote, in the Sydney time zone. For the UK and Europe, your morning is my late afternoon, so we overlap every working day.

How we work together

• Defined pieces of work, or blocks of hours. A feature, a fix, a finish, a whole build or an AI agent feature: scope first, then time and price. Or a lead engineer by the hour, for a set number of hours a week. I do not take full-time placements.
• Few meetings. One short check-in a week and written updates in your tools. I join your client calls when you need the engineer in the room. No all-day meeting schedules: the time goes into the work.
• A partner rate. A little below my direct rate, because you bring the client and run the account. It is still a senior rate. You pay for senior judgement, AI-agent speed and a Sydney time zone, not for an offshore seat.
• Your clients stay yours. A non-solicit clause in writing: I do not approach or work for your client directly.
• Start with a trial. One small piece of work at a fixed price. If it goes well, I am your overflow engineer.

What I do not do

Cheap hourly work. Full-time seats. All-day meeting schedules. Apps that move money or make decisions about people on their own.
